Events at the Small Press Center
Events run by the Small Press Center include: a series of interviews with notable figures
in publishing, such as the late George Plimpton; lectures on the Algonquin Round Table, The New York Times and The New Yorker, a series entitled Emerging Voices on some of the important writers currently published by indie presses, and a number of workshops,
full of practical advice for independent publishers and writers. The Center also runs an annual Small
Press Book Fair, the Annual Round Table Writers' Conference and co-sponsors Small Press Month.
